La fabrique des losers questionne les injonctions au productivisme dans la société occidentale en utilisant la figure emblématique du loser du cinéma grand public américain. 

Le film, projeté à l’aide d’un dispositif rudimentaire, combine des images fixes, des photos d’archives et des vidéos glanées sur Internet, le tout accompagné de la voix d’une narratrice. Il met en scène deux personnages coincés dans une trame narrative aristotélicienne, un classique de la dramaturgie hollywoodienne dans lequel les personnages doivent évoluer positivement au fil de l’histoire. 

D’un point de vue formel, l’installation joue entre la promesse d’un grand spectacle annoncée par l’enseigne lumineuse à l’entrée et la pauvreté des moyens techniques avec lesquels l’œuvre est réalisée.

La Fabrique des Loosers examines the pressure to be productive in Western society by drawing on the iconic figure of the "loser" from mainstream American cinema.

The film, projected using a rudimentary setup, combines still images, archival photos, and videos gathered from the Internet, all accompanied by a narrator’s voice. It features two characters trapped within an Aristotelian narrative framework, a classic trope of Hollywood dramaturgy in which the characters must undergo positive development as the story unfolds.

From a formal perspective, the installation plays on the tension between the promise of a grand spectacle announced by the neon sign at the entrance and the limited technical resources used to create the work.
