Filmé trois semaines avant l’éclipse totale de 2018 aux états-Unis, un bouleversement semble arriver sans jamais advenir. Mais si la terre était soudain éclairée par un autre astre, qu’est-ce que ce nouveau scintillement modifierait dans nos modes d’organisation, de pensée?

The Sun to Come portrays an American couple living in an oasis that seems to belong to no world. Amid this lush, silent landscape, far removed from the modern world, their home still seems to harbor the utopian ideals of the hippie communities of the 1960s.

Filmed three weeks before the 2018 total solar eclipse in the United States, a profound change seems to be on the horizon but never quite materializes. But if the Earth were suddenly illuminated by another celestial body, how would this new glow alter the way we organize ourselves and think?
